Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, and phone number.
• Log in: email one time codes, or Google account email and profile if you choose Continue with Google.
• Order details: estate, apartment, garments, pickup/delivery windows, and payment status.
• Device push tokens when you opt in to order notifications in the DoorWash web app (browser endpoint keys used only to deliver those updates).
• Operational photos taken at pickup or delivery for bag custody, when a dispatcher records them.

How we use it

We use this information to run your booking, send order updates, take payment, prevent fraud, and improve the service. We do not sell customer lists. Staff see only what they need for dispatch, facility processing, or finance.

Who else sees it

Payment processors, email delivery, and hosting providers process data on our behalf to complete an order. Google receives the information you approve on the Google consent screen when you sign in with Google.

Retention and your choices

Order and custody records are kept as long as needed for operations, disputes, and legal duties. You can turn off push notifications in your browser site settings or by clearing DoorWash notification permission; email updates may still apply. You can request a copy or deletion of your account data by emailing hello@doorwash.ng, except where we must keep a record. Processing for Nigerian customers is handled consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) principles of purpose limitation and data minimisation.
